Is the Quince Años Mass for my teenager only?
Yes, the Mass is only for your daughter or son.
In what language can the Mass be celebrated?
Spanish, English, and/or Bilingual.
Is a priest celebrating my Ceremony?
A priest will always celebrate your ceremony. However, in the absence of a priest, a Deacon may preside over the liturgy.
Can a priest friend of the family celebrate the Mass?
Yes. However, the family should consider giving him a donation for his services. The parish is committed to supplying our own priests. The visiting priest must have the necessary permission and delegation (pastor) from the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.
How many people can participate in the Quinceañera court?
Up to seven (7) couples or fourteen (14) people may walk down the aisle. Parents and main couple of Sponsors (Padrinos) may be added.
What are the most common symbols used? Are they required?
Usually, they are five: Bible & Rosary, Religious Medal, Bracelet, and Bouquet of Flowers for the Virgin Mary. None of them are required.
Can we have a more simple Quinceañera celebration?
Yes, you may have a Sunday celebration within our regular Masses. No procession of Quinceañera, family, and/or Quinceañera party. A modest donation may be offered.
