Who:
Three talented musicians come together each Saturday to provide music for the Vigil Mass: Bill on the guitar, Sergio on the piano, and Liz as the vocalist. 


Their Story: 
Liz and Bill Barlak met in 1984 at St. Charles Borremeo in North Hollywood while in a contemporary choir. They’ve been singing and playing guitar together ever since. They were providing music for Saint Finbar Parish in Burbank from 1996-2021 every Saturday evening at the 5:00 pm Mass. They since moved to St. Robert Bellarmine Parish in the fall of 2021 where they continue their Saturday at 5:00 tradition. Sergio Minervini joined Bill and Liz as the piano player accompanist in 2023.

Mission Statement:
The mission of the 9 AM Choir at St Robert Bellarmine is to enhance and support the worship experience by providing choral music during the Mass, consistent with the Catholic Liturgy, in a wide range of styles.

Who Should Join? 
The main requirement is that the prospective member simply possess a basic, natural musicality. Prior experience and vocal training are desired, but not mandatory. Applicants should be at least 16 years of age.

This is a fantastic opportunity to use your musical talents, make new friends, and contribute to our worship services in a meaningful way.
