Art and Environment Ministry  Do you have an opinion on our Church environment (décor)? Then we invite you to make your voice heard and your talents made visible!  Come join the art & environment ministry.  A great many volunteers with an unimaginable variety of skills are needed to keep the church and it’s décor inviting as we embrace each new liturgical season.  We need helpers who like to climb, sew, clean, mend or shop.  People who create and design. People who are visual, who have an eye for color, scale, shape and texture. People with fresh ideas that want to help enrich the liturgy.  Perhaps you are one of those who are not able to do the work yourself but are brilliant in creating ideas.  It is the goal of the art & environment ministry to bring people together as a community and allow them the opportunity to create something beautiful that honors their love of our Church and Our Lord.  Have anything at all to bring to the table? We graciously welcome you!

Music Ministry comprises many different groups of varying degrees of commitment and proficiency.  Opportunities exist for all ages and all levels of talent in both vocal and instrumental music.

Ten Reasons to Join a choir at St. Robert Bellarmine Church

10) You always have a great, reserved seat for Christmas and Easter.

9) Friends! You will no longer be able to complain, "Church is so impersonal--I don't know anyone in my parish."

8)  Psalm 100 will come to life for you as you make joyful noise unto the Lord.

7) Choir parties--they're fun!

6) Serving the Lord--considering all He does for us, it's just a little giving back to Him.

5)  Serving others--the congregation really loves it when the choir leads the singing.

4) He who sings prays twice ( St. Augustine ).

3) They don't pass the collection basket in the choir loft.

2)  Romance possibilities;  Single men, we have a three to one ratio of women to men.

1) Rehearsal every Wednesday night means one night without the kids.

Prayer Group is for all who want to grow into a deeper relationship with God.  Our evenings start by singing praise music, inviting in the Holy Spirit and opening up our hearts to God.  We give thanks to God for His blessings during the week.  People are invited to share their own prayer needs and are prayed over.  During our closing, we lift up our personal and private prayer requests.  When everyone has received prayer and we have thanked God and prayed to the angels to guard and guide us home through the week, we are on our way with hugs and recharged for another week.

When you come to a prayer meeting expect always to be deeply loved and surrounded by God’s care and presence.

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults RCIA

Do you remember when you first heard God call you ?

Was it through another person or event ? What exactly were you being called to do?

Who helped you take the next step?

Our part in God’s mission at St. Robert’s is for our entire assembly to help people respond and support them in their response to God’s call. For Catholics initiation and reception of  sacraments takes place in the RCIA process. Our Church has recently recovered and developed a process that the earliest Christians used. This process is not so much about  learning things in a classroom as it is being an ”apprentice” in God’s Community.

If you are interested in becoming a Catholic or completing the sacraments of Eucharist or Confirmation please do not hesitate to call.
