Saint Gerardo Window This window is dedicated to a little known saint who was a pilgrim from England with his three companions going to the Holy Land probably during the First Crusade. He was martyred in the town of Gallinaro. We see the Saint on the window in the dark robe of a pilgrim with rope around his waist. He has bare feet and a humble and kindly face of a simple traveler. In his right hand he holds a staff with an ornate head. In the other hand he holds a small, red book. There are flowers and plants around him on a brownish half globe. In the background, behind him there is the small town of Gallinaro, built exactly as ancient Italian towns were built, on top of a mountain. This is the place of his martyrdom. An ornate halo is around his head.
