|We see Francis standing there in dark brown Franciscan habit with rope around his waist. He is a humble little man, full of love. Through his life time he declared and manifested to his contemporaries that God's creation is good and holy and all creatures are our brothers and sisters. The son in top of the composition (as He called it "Brother Son") sheds his rays upon Him. He is surrounded by flowers and animals, rabbit and lamb. Birds are flying around him. The Poverello, as Francis was called, changed the world by intensely loving it and his impact is felt even today.
